Guest Policy
- All guests must be invited by a
CURRENT member of the House of Dewbauchery.
-
Guests are the responsibility of the
member who invites them - any damage; messes; or fines caused by a
member's guest will be assessed upon the member. This includes
cleaning, paying for damage/fines, and possibly a public flogging.
-
Guest Fees are $40 per night to be paid
before, or immediately upon, arrival. There are envelopes next to
the sign-in board. Money MUST be put in an envelope and
handed to a house parent upon arrival.
-
It is the member's responsibility to
collect their guest's fees - failure to do so will result in the
member having to pay the fee themselves - plus a $5 lame-guest fee.
Spending all of your $ at the bar is not a valid excuse for failure
to pay. Bring a checkboook if you have to...
-
Beds are reserved for members first.
Guests may claim a bed only if no member has claimed the bed by
midnight, or if they are sharing the bed with a consenting member.
-
A dragback is not a guest, and there
are no fees associated with their presence. However, if questioned,
the dragback must be able to come up with your name or alias. There
are usually markers around if you need to provide them with a
reminder.
- Even if your guest
gets lucky - i.e. is a dragback to a different house - they still
owe guest fees to Dewbauchery. Think of it as a contribution to the
general Dewey Beach house economy.
-
There is an 8-night limit for guests -
after that; guests are encouraged to purchase a quarter share for
$800. The $800 will be prorated to include guest fees already
paid.
