Now Recruiting for Summer 2008!!!

The most fun-loving, drink-swilling, booty-shaking, fool-making house in all of Dewey! We drink, we dance, we drink some more and we laugh our asses off.  Some of us even go in the water once in a while...

    WELCOME NEW DEWEY BEACH BUSINESSES

I believe that all of us here in Dewey are very pleased to welcome several new businesses to town. Our Town Council has worked with the business community to make several changes in order to keep Dewey Beach the "Way of Life" we all want it to be, and so we are all pleased to welcome the following new spots:
    * Ponos - The new Hawaiian themed fine dining restaurant which opened up about a month ago on the ocean side of Highway One across from the Ruddertowne complex. Offering extremely fine food in a dressy atmosphere, local business man Regan Derrickson has done a remarkable job in building not only this, but also his other new business, Nalu, from scratch over these winter months.
    * Nalu - Right next door to Ponos, this is a new Hawaiian Surf Bar & Grill, offering not only a full bar selection, but a huge menu of grilled items, and even kid friendly. Plenty of sit down dining, and something that I feel will fit right into the Dewey Beach lifestyle!
    * Que Pasa - The old Sunnyside Up breakfast spot is gone, and in it's place is Que Pasa, an authentic Mexican dining restaurant with a bar overlooking the Rehoboth Bay. The bar took over where the old arcade was at Ruddertowne, so should offer some great views. They tell me the Guacamole will be the best, I plan to be the judge of that... often!
    * Scully's - Right across the street from The Starboard is our good friend's Buffalo Burger restaurant, now open for their second full season of business, if you haven't stopped in across the street to try one of their fabulous Buffalo Burgers... give it a try next time you are in town! They like to say "have a beer here till the line at The Starboard thins out!!!"

    What’s happening this weekend?
STARBOARD OPENING WEEKEND ~ Thursday March 13th to Sunday, March 16th

If you haven’t been down to Dewey for the Starboard Opening Party, you have not lived.  It’s the entire build up of your winter’s frustration released all in one shot.  Take off Friday, get your friends together, and get to Dewey for a fantastic weekend.  To top it all off, they will be hosting a St. Patty's Day Bash on Sunday, March 16th!  Consider this an early Suicide Sunday if you will.  This year, Monty said that he has a very nice surprise for all of you that make it down for the Opening Weekend, so you will be pleased by it once you get there!  And of course, the Opening is when we get the first shipment of the 2008 Starboard VIP cards.  They will be available from Thursday night on, so you don’t want to miss this.  If you haven’t booked a room yet, the Sand Palace will be open that weekend and you can get more information on their website here: http://deweymotels.com
